Documents and permits
Dogs and cats need a shipping permit to travel within the Philippines. To get one, prepare:
- Vaccination card: valid, with complete details.
- Rabies vaccination: up to date. It must be no more than 1 year old, and given at least 14 days before the date of departure.
- Veterinary health certificate: issued by a local government (LGU) veterinarian or a veterinarian of a Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office (DA RFO). A certificate from a private veterinarian must be concurred by an LGU or DA RFO veterinarian.
